Birdhouses
My mother for the past few years has been very much into birdhouses and feeding the birds in her yard. And not only that but also trying to attract pretty song birds also. In fact when she doesn't feed her birds she feels so bad. She does this year round and for her one of the best gifts to get her lately are birdhouses and birdfeeders. She likes the cheap ones too but for gifts the nicer looking ones are much better. And they just look a lot nicer too. And they will last longer than the cheap ones so for the little extra you pay it is well worth it in my opinion.
There is something about watching the birds in your yard and attracting different birds especially song birds. My mom's favorite past time in the warmer weather is to just sit out there and watch the birds and listen to them. She finds it very relaxing and it is probably very therapeutic for her. Maybe more people should do this and just enjoy nature a little more. It is all around us but sometimes you need things like bird feeders to attract the ones that you really would like to see and listen to.
