Easier To Get
My sister is a phlebotomist and right now she is going to school for x-ray technician. She was on the waiting list actually for 2 years with that one and she finally got accepted in the program and it is just so much harder than she had thought. You think that all the do is go behind the screen and push the button for the xray but it is just so much more. I can not believe the courses and the stuff that she has to know.
She is a full time student but is also a phlebotomist part time at a doctors office so she is vinyl exam gloves. She doesn't wear the latex because just in case someone is allergic. She sometimes gets her own medical supplies and she gets them right online because it is cheaper and actually much more convenient to do that. My grandmother also get a lot of medical things online as well because she is diabetic. These days it is just easier to order things than to have to go out to a store to get them!!
Personally, I like to stock up on my own personal medical supplies...better safe than sorry and it is nice to have just in case.
