Henna Hair Coloring

So, I got this red henna hair coloring..all natural stuff. Well, once again I have found that this henna stuff just does not work. At least this was better than the powder stuff that I got the last time...what a mess that made! But i see no difference and not only that but my hair is like straw it seems. It was suppose to be super soft and I just don't see it.
