Hospice Care
There is a novel called a Nice Average Guy by Ned Mansour where all the profits will be going to the TrinityKids Hospice Care which I think is just great. Basically it is about a 43 year old guy name Fitz. He is in therapy and his therapist wants to get him out of his rutt - out of that comfortable life that he is use to and have an "introspective journey". Everyone has those basic adult fears and the key is to work on them and get over them so that you can go on to lead a full life not of fear but of pleasure and enjoyment.
I think that this book is a great book to read to help you start to think about your fears and what kind of journey that you would take. And this book is not boring either...it is very entertaining with a charming story that has that message we can all relate to and take which to me are the best kinds of books. It is a self help book that is entertaining with humor yet insightful compassion at the same time. And I think it is absolutely wonderful that all the proceeds go to such a worthy cause which makes me want to go out and get the book just because of that!
