Moving to NY

I moved to New York to follow my husband who got a new job and at first I was really lonely. I was really unsure of what I wanted to do and I couldn’t find a job for the life of me in design which is what I’ve always done. It didn’t take long for me to make some new friends and then I started helping them do the interiors of their homes – what a difference that has made! I now have my own home-based business (although it’s really professional: I’ve got Bronx T1 and my own office and everything) and I’ve got more clients than I have time to service! I love that it’s so easy to work when I want and take time off if I need it and my husband likes that he doesn’t have to worry about me being home bored all the time like he did at first. I really like it here and I know that my business is just going to keep growing if I let it!
