Old Toys
Sometimes I feel as though my kids are living my childhood because all the toys that I once played with are coming back...My Little Ponies, Strawberry Shortcakes, Care Bears....It is just so funny! And then there are the transformer toys and Barbies that have just been around forever it seems. Personally, I think I like the toys that are timeless the best. You know the toys....etch-a-sketches, magna doodles, legos, building blocks. The toys that will just always be around because they are just that good and the kids always love them no matter if it is 1960 or 2009! Kids don't know what year it is but they know what they like and they know a good toy when they see one that is for sure!
I liked the toys that let you use your imagination...the building toys. And the toys although may be fundamentally the same have changed over the years. Some have changed to make them better and others have changed and they just quite don't add up to the quality they use to be. One toy that iis very cool is MagNext. I have actually seen these and they look so neat. I was going to get them but I have a child in the house at the moment that likes to eat everything and magnets are not good to eat
This is really great though because you don't have to lock them together and you can make what ever you want. They are very colorful too and I think a 7 or 8 year old would have hours of fun with these toys. And I love the Girls System Ultimate - the colors are great!
