Time
My grandmother told me years and years ago that I could have her grandfathers clock someday. I just really always liked grandfathers clocks because they just look so nice. They are really a nice piece of furniture that can really make a room look so much nicer in my opinion. And personally, I just love the sound that the grandfather clock makes every hour. It just is nice and it makes a room complete. But I don't know if I am ever going to get this clock and I would like to be young enough to actually enjoy it which is why I have been looking around and seriously considering just getting one of my own even though I like hers.
My favorite by far are the Howard Miller Clocks - especially the ones that have the curio right in with the clock....those are beautiful. I have looked at the other grandfather clocks like Kieninger clocks, Hermle clocks and Ridgeway clocks and they are all nice but there is something about the Howard Miller design that I like. I think home decor is a matter of taste though and you have to get what is going to go good with your interior design. 1-800-4clocks is a great site to check out for all sorts of clocks and they have great articles on their blogs as well....you can read up on how clocks make for a great gift.
